Anedoti travel the world in a passionate search for unique beauty and talent. We source the finest leathers in Italy, silks in Dubai, India and Hong Kong, cashmere products from the mountains of Kashmir and some of our jewellery is made on the banks of the river Niger in Africa.
In each case, we work with a range of specialist factories, mostly family owned, that still use traditional methods in the manufacturing process. Our products are generally hand-made, using skilled artisans to produce a high quality and modern product. We also visit each factory to ensure that best practices are adhered to with regards to working conditions & local/international trade standards.
Who are your designers?Matching New Design & High Quality is what we aspire and we therefore like to promote & help up and coming, talented designers from around the world. Anedoti partners with young talent in all fields from clothing, jewellery making, to styling and photography giving them a chance to turn their great ideas into a commercial reality.
Anedoti are always on the look out for something unique with timeless quality.
Designers for the 2007 collection include:
- Vikkie T, a young clothing designer from west-London whose previous collections have featured in Notting Hill's Tarbuck Tizzard, Heidi Klein and in exclusive collections for Top Shop.
- Ikken: a young French jewellery designer collective with a visionary goal.
One year ago, Ikken set up a unique project in Niger with a renowned Parisian jeweller from the Place Vendome. Ikken developed a line of jewellery made by local Touareg artisans, combining their local skills with French techniques and quality standards. This had led to an exquisite collection of urban chic jewellery, made of the highest quality silver, ebony and stingray Ð which gained the attention of the fashion world throughout France.
The results have not only been outstanding from a fashion perspective. From a humanitarian perspective, this initiative generated local employment and raised the skills of the local artsians, thus creating a long-term sustainable future for them and their families.
Be the first to get your hands on the Ikken designs as Anedoti launches these products globally. Look out for new designs designed exclusively in partnership with Anedoti throughout the year. - Anedoti has formed a unique partnership with Rajasthani jewellers, under the name Tiana to bring the best of Indian stone cutting and craftsmanship with our own modern contemporary designs. This exclusive range of semi precious stones and silver pendants complement any outfit and are the perfect holiday companions.
As often as we can! We continue to grow the
collection every month with unique articles based on our discovery of new
designers and your feedback. Sign up to our Monthly Newsletter. Also never
hesitate to provide us feedback on our current collection and new products.
If we take your advice, we will reward you with a free gift.
Anedoti don’t believe in the traditional concept of
seasons and collections. We realise that our clients' lifestyle and location
crosses borders, climates and time zones. We realise you might need the
perfect summer outfit in December (for that get-away in the Seychelles ) or
scarf & gloves (for these remarkably cold Kalahari dessert nights when you
least expect it). We have therefore designed our collections to be available
and to be updated year round for any occasion (holiday, urban wear, evening)
and any look. At Anedoti, you can get the perfect outfit at any season.
